American Black Belt Academy was established in 1989 as a Not-for-Profit Training facility. As Wisconsin's oldest Not-for-Profit training facility, American Black Belt Academy offers training for kids and adults in Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido and Brazilian Style Ju Jitsu. Mrs Swartwood (Instructor) says, "This is such a great opportunity for children, adults and families to participate in a fun and life changing activities.

We know that every student comes to us with a different set of goals in mind as well as abilities and learning styles. Knowing this, we work with each student to help them reach their goals and maximize their potential.
We do this by using positive reinforcement and keeping our classes focused, fun and informative. Whether teaching our Golden Dragons (4-5 year olds), Tae Kwon Do or Hapkido Students, ABBA will help your child or you grow, and learn those life lessons that will help you in both school and life.
In our 28 years of teaching we have help young people grow to become successful Doctors, Pilots, Lawyers, Therapists, Military Trainers, a Wisconsin Badger Drum Major, and even become one of the final three on Survivor. Our Program will teach you or your child confidence, goal setting, self-discipline, focus and more..
